Brendan Murray
Biography
Currently Brendan Murray holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering, with a concentration in Civil Engineering, from Gannon University. Over the past 12 years, he has built a strong and varied career through roles including Staff Engineer for a third-party concrete and soil testing consulting firm, Geotechnical Construction Project Manager, and Territory Sales Manager – Stormwater Markets for the Midwest region. In these positions, Brendan worked extensively with stormwater pipe specifications and product QA/QC, giving him deep technical insight into the critical performance requirements of modern infrastructure systems.
His diverse background has equipped him with both the technical acumen and relationship-building expertise essential to supporting the ACPA’s mission of promoting resilient and sustainable infrastructure. Brendan’s experience working directly with contractors, engineers, and municipal stakeholders has shaped his collaborative approach and his commitment to ensuring high-quality, long-lasting stormwater solutions.
Day to day, Brendan will work closely with producers, agencies, and industry partners across the Midwest—conducting trainings, providing technical support, and engaging in outreach efforts that strengthen market development and elevate industry knowledge. His focus is on building trust, sharing practical insights, and helping communities adopt durable, sustainable concrete pipe systems that stand the test of time.
Fun Fact: Outside of work, Brendan enjoys exploring the outdoors, tackling new DIY projects, and spending time with family and friends—always bringing the same enthusiasm and hands-on energy that he brings to the industry.
