The South Central Region Engineer (RE) works to support the ACPA’s Strategic Plan in the western territory. This includes the central states, Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. The overall goal is to increase the reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) and precast box culverts market share in the public sector, and ensure our products are appropriately specified within the territory and across the country. The RE position provides a national presence at the state and regional levels, enabling producing members to communicate and educate all relevant stakeholders (i.e. DOTs, municipalities, federal agencies, contractors, consultants, etc.) on the benefits of precast pipe and box culverts and the most appropriate manufacturing methods, design, and installation practices for their use. REs provide the platform that effectively unifies producing members’ efforts towards the accomplishment of ACPA’s strategic plan goals.
